Buying flowers that are in season is a great way to save money. If you rethink your flowers and purchase those in season, you might save a lot of money and have more money in your budget for other things. It also might allow for more flowers. Consider the large arrangements on altars. They will only be seen from far away. To use inexpensive flowers will put you at a great advantage. At times the bands and DJs that cannot afford to advertise in glossy wedding magazines turn out to be the best. Look in local papers and you may be striking gold. A demonstration performance is not unwarranted and is surely necessary as their may not be many referrals to be had.

A very good and controversial question is, "Is it alright to have a cash car at the reception?" The answer is that it's completely up to you. Some believe that if guests want to drink, let them pay for it. Whilst others will rather pay for it themselves instead of giving guests the feeling that they are paying for part of the wedding. Taking a little bit of the 'Celebration' out of your day. A cash bar could be an excellent way to down the cost of your wedding. But, if you decide against it, limit the alcohol to toasts and speeches. A non-alcoholic equivalent is expected at every wedding and can be served throughout the reception.

Try to account for everything you are going to need down to the cost of napkins and rose-petals. Those small things may seem trivial, but they often add up to a significant amount of money.
